Spacious - The 100W Vitopod fits 12x half seed trays or 55 pots! The 50W fits 6 half seed trays or 25 seed pots. This means you can grow more varieties of your favourite plants!

Precise control - The Vitopod's thermostat can be set to any 1°C between 5°C and 30°C to meet the exact needs of your plants. No other heated propagator gives such range and precision. This means that you grow your seedlings in the ideal growing conditions which they need which increases the speed and strength of your germination so that you can transplant them quicker!

Height adjustable - The Vitopod can be bought as single, double or triple height variation and height extensions can be bought at any time. Each extension is 15cm tall, this means that you can protect your taller plants without heating your entire greenhouse. It effectively turns into a mini greenhouse!

Even heat - Heat is distributed evenly throughout the base, so there are no hot or cold spots. This means that your seedlings grow more evenly with a high germination success rate. Even heat for your seedling makes it's easier to manage your watering, so that you can prevent them from drying out.

Accurate temperature sensor (air probe) - Triggers the supply of heat depending on the sensor reading. This is an air probe which dangles in the air, and should not be inserted into the compost/soil or the base of your propagator. This means you can maintain the right temperature without wasting electricity.

Large vents - The vents in the lid allow condensation to be released preventing dampening-off without having to remove the lid. The lids help retain moisture for your seedlings which helps speedy and healthy germination, but the addition of this vents mean that you can control the humidity of your seedlings to their preference, providing excellent air circulation.

Robust - This electric propagator has lids and sides are treated to prevent yellowing. Not only this but the unit is made from the same durable, UV resistant acrylic material as aircraft windscreens! This means you can be sure that it lasts a lifetime and serve you with the same quality growing season! Also, our units are made from recycled acrylic, so that you can be sure you be sure you are helping the environment whilst growing.

Unheated Vitopod

Use the Vitopod Unheated propagator to harden-off your plants before planting-out. ‘Hardening off’ is the vital process of getting seedlings ready for life outdoors. Without this step it’s too easy to lose plants or have them wilt from the sudden change in conditions between a warm windowsill and a draughty garden.

The Vitopod Unheated propagator can be used outside in a sheltered area or in a greenhouse or polytunnel.

Light Support Kits

Attach lights to your existing Vitopod propagator with these easy to use kits. Available with and without lights.

Using propagation lights helps to encourage fast, healthy growth without legginess.

Our Light Support Kit includes a set of two propagation lights and our Light Support Bracket, which attaches to your Vitopod electric propagator to securely hold lights above the Vitopod lids. When you add a height extension to the Vitopod, simply move the brackets up. The lids can be removed without removing the lights!

The lights are housed in a nanotech-enhanced reflector that reflects 99.9% of previously lost light, increases lumen availability by 300% and diffuses light deep into the plant leaves. The lights are low energy and long-lasting, typically providing 10,000 hours of light.

Vitopod Layers

Add height extensions to your Vitopod propagator to turn it into a mini greenhouse for hardening-off and overwintering.

Each Vitopod height extension adds an extra 15cm in height. This means you can keep your plants in the Vitopod with the lid in place until the conditions outside are right for your plants.

Deluxe Thermostat Controller

The award-winning Vitopod heated propagator has a robust and reliable thermostat.

The Vitopod's thermostat has several features which make the Vitopod robust and easy to use.

• Illuminated screen with large digits – read the target and actual temperature without squinting, even in the glare of the sun or in poor light
• Automatic screen saver - the digital display turns off after 1 minute of non-use, to reduce energy use
• Heating indicator – see at a glance whether the Vitopod is warming up, reassures gardeners that everything is working correctly
• Robust hanging loop – for safely placing the thermostat at viewing height
